Containers originally had their uses in transportation as containers for storing goods. In subsequent years, they also gained their use as mobile storage units. People, however, saw a potential in their simplicity as well as stable construction, so containers began to gain other uses as well. It was noticed that a container can be used for example as an office, as well as to live in it, since it is not a problem to equip it with all the necessary elements needed for living. Thus, residential containers began to be created and they are now an interesting alternative to standard apartments.

Eco House residential container - a house made from a container
A house from a shipping container has no limitations and its appearance depends only on people's imagination. It can be a container summer house created, for example, from a single 20' or 40' container, or a modular year-round house connected from several containers both horizontally and vertically, thanks to the use of stairs. The Eco House is mobile and does not need a building permit, so it can be erected anywhere.
The residential container is fully insulated, so inside it doesn't look like a traditional container. As a result, it can be used all year round. The Eco House has electrical and heating systems and LED lighting, making the space functional, cozy and well-lit. In a single container, there is a division of the space into a sleeping area, a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. The possibility of combining containers makes it possible to modify the space, add and change its location.
