The price of containers is significantly influenced by the market situation, meaning the cost of producing a particular container and the cost of transporting it from the factory. The price of a container also varies depending on how it is acquired.

The price of a container for sale will definitely be higher than the price of a container for rent. Renting a container is much cheaper because the customer acquires the product only for a certain period of time after which it can be returned.

The size of the container is one of the key factors that affect the price of a shipping container. Therefore, the price of a 20' container usually involves the expenditure of several thousand, and the price of a 40' container also starts below 10,000 PLN but for new models we will pay several thousand.

The price of a refrigerated container, on the other hand, has a much higher price range compared to shipping containers, as used 20-foot refrigerated containers can be obtained on the market for less than PLN 20,000 but new 40-foot models are often an expense of about PLN 100,000 or even more.

The price of an office container, unlike cold storage, does not have such a huge price range, as used models start at several thousand, and new office containers are an expense of several tens of thousands. With office containers, it is important to remember that they can be modified, thus adapting the container for special requirements, installing, for example, additional installations or security features. Any modification of an office container also affects its price.

Other important factors affecting prices are:

Technical Condition of Containers: Prices vary depending on the technical condition of the container and how worn out it is. A used container will have a lower price than a new one way container.

Quantity Purchased: Bulk purchases may qualify for discounts.

Location: Prices are lower near seaports and rail terminals. Higher prices may apply in locations further from the coast, such as southern Poland.

The cost of transportation should also be added to the purchase of the container. The price of the container with transportation will depend on its size and distance - from a few hundred zlotys in the same locality as the container yard, to several thousand, depending on how far away the destination is. At Eco Containers, we have 8 branches throughout Poland, so we can minimize transportation costs by sending the container from the branch closest to the destination. It is also possible to ship a container abroad. In such cases, an individual valuation is carried out and is quoted in euros.
